About EyeonIndia in collaboration with the Indian Government brings to the community International Yoga Day

21 June has been declared as the International Yoga Day by the United Nations General Assembly on 11 December 2014. Yoga, a 5,000-year-old physical, mental and spiritual practice having its origin in India, aims to transform the body and the mind.”Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action, restraint and fulfillment, harmony between man and nature and a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with you, the world and nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, Yoga can help us deal with climate change. Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day.”

Teamwork Arts in partnership with the Govt. of India and as part of the annual Eye on India Festival, is taking the opportunity to collaborate with local yoga practitioners and schools to come and participate in the festival. This daylong event will bring together different schools of thoughts and will expose the audience to different branches of World Yoga. The program would include:

– Practice Mindfulness with masters of Yoga originating from India
– Sacred Music: Artistes from across the world and India celebrating yoga — special compositions
